We have room for students who want to become teachers, teacher assistants or teaching assistants and can accommodate full-time and part-time students. Best by bike
Within all primary schools of the Best Onderwijs foundation, great importance is attached to working with students. This forms a wonderful interaction of giving and receiving information and inspiration. In order to get a broader picture of the educational offer within Best, the school coaches organize “Best by bike”. A fun day where students on bicycles not only get to know the diversity of each child center but also each other.

Teacher training
Within Best Onderwijs you will do an internship at one of our training schools.
Learning in practice is an important part of your studies. Right from the first year you will do an internship at a primary school. This requires intensive cooperation between the education and the professional field that is based on trust and appreciation and is characterized by shared responsibility. In our professional learning community there is close cooperation between students, mentors and coaches from the following education programs;

To start with, you can choose from many different schools with their own educational visions and dynamics. There is always a school that fits your own vision and ambitions. Of course, the team must also suit you. A pleasant working atmosphere and having fun together is important after all. So come and get to know our schools, the directors and the school coaches.
From day one, you are a full member of the team and are involved in all educational tasks within the teaching profession. You will gradually build up experience alongside a qualified teacher. You will work more and more independently and will be given the space to shape your lessons as you see fit, with all the creativity you want to use. All this with confidence, constructive feedback and guidance/coaching from the school.
Every school has a school trainer for this purpose.
Teacher training
Teachers in training (LIO) receive an internship agreement. After obtaining 180 credits, an agreement is drawn up between the student and Best Onderwijs and an appropriate compensation follows.
Educational support staff
MBO students in their graduation phase receive an internship allowance.
We are proud that many students join Best Onderwijs after graduating. And that is not without reason. Of course, because they work in education. They are happy when they see the children grow, partly through their contribution. But also because they like the atmosphere in the school teams and we continue to guide you as a starting professional from starting competence to basic competence.
